General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. General Version: Aug 10, 2026
1.1. These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") apply to orders, sales and deliveries of products ("Products") offered and sold in this online shop ("Shop") via the website www.lareenatelier.com.
1.2. The contractual language is English. Additional languages may be available on the website.
2. Scope
These GTC apply when the buyer is a consumer within the meaning of § 1 KSchG (Austrian Consumer Protection Act) ("Customer").
3. Amendments to the GTC
The Provider reserves the right to amend these GTC. The GTC applicable at the time of purchase shall apply to the sale of Products.
4. Customer Account
To order Products, the Customer may create a customer account in the Shop. Creating a customer account requires the Customer to provide certain information. Ordering is also possible without a customer account.
5. Order, Order Confirmation, Shipping Confirmation
5.1. The ordering process consists of the following steps:
Selection of desired products
Adding products to the shopping cart
Entering personal details
Selecting payment and delivery method
Reviewing and correcting the order
Placing a binding order by clicking "Buy now"
5.2. The products and prices displayed in the Shop constitute an invitation to the Customer to submit a binding offer to purchase. By clicking the "Buy now" button, the Customer submits a binding order to the Provider. Images and illustrations are approximate values unless expressly stated otherwise.
5.3. The Provider will send a confirmation email to the Customer's provided email address confirming both receipt and acceptance of the order. This email constitutes the conclusion of the purchase contract.
5.4. Once the order has been dispatched, the Customer will receive a shipping confirmation by email including a tracking number.
5.5. The Customer must ensure that all information provided, particularly shipping details, is accurate, correct and up to date. The Customer must notify the Provider immediately of any changes.
6. Payment
6.1. All prices are displayed in the currency selected by the Customer. As a small business under the Austrian VAT exemption (§ 6 UStG), no VAT is charged. Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are shown separately before placing the order.
6.2. Payment in the Shop can be made via: Credit card, Klarna, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay. Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
6.3. Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and selected shipping method. The applicable shipping costs are displayed during checkout before the order is finalized.
7. Delivery
7.1. The Customer may choose from the shipping methods offered by the Provider in the Shop.
7.2. Delivery times consist of processing time and shipping time. The current processing time for each piece is displayed on the individual product page. Estimated shipping times are: Austria 3-5 business days, Europe 5-10 business days, International 7-14 business days. Total delivery shall take place within a maximum of 30 days from conclusion of contract unless otherwise stated on the product page.
7.3. If delivery deadlines cannot be met due to force majeure, industrial disputes or other events outside the Provider's control, the delivery deadline shall be extended accordingly.
7.4. If the Customer is in default of acceptance, the warranty period begins to run.
8. Retention of Title
The Provider retains ownership of the Products until full payment of the purchase price and ancillary costs has been received.
9. Provider Default
If the Provider is in default, the Customer must first request the Provider to perform within a reasonable grace period of two weeks. If the Provider fails to perform within this period, the Customer may withdraw from the contract or continue to demand performance.
10. Warranty
10.1. All Lareen Atelier pieces are crafted with the highest standards of quality. In the unlikely event of a defect, we provide warranty in accordance with applicable statutory provisions. Austrian law provides a statutory warranty period of 2 years from delivery. For any complaints or concerns, please contact us at contact@lareenatelier.com — we will do our best to find a solution promptly.
10.2. Should a defect occur, we may ask you to return the item to us. In this case, Lareen Atelier will cover all return shipping costs and assume full responsibility for the safe return of your piece.
11. Liability and Damages
The Provider's liability for slightly negligent damages, except for personal injury and primary contractual obligations, is excluded. Liability is also excluded for pure financial losses, loss of profit, third-party damages, indirect damages and consequential damages. These limitations do not apply in cases of gross negligence or intent.
12. General Provisions
12.1. Austrian law applies exclusively, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
12.2. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
12.3. The Customer may only offset claims against the Provider's claims if they are legally related, acknowledged or legally established.
12.4. The Customer is obliged to notify the Provider of any change of address.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us within this period by means of a clear statement (e.g. email or letter):

We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal immediately by email.
Please include your order number and a copy of your withdrawal notice with the return shipment so we can process your request promptly.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal to:
